Headache is the most reported symptom following concussion. More than 80% of concussed service members experience post-traumatic headache, with many reporting a significant impact on daily functioning and overall quality of life.
This TBICoE course provides evidence-based guidance to evaluate and manage post-traumatic headaches, based on the clinical recommendation Assessment and Management of Headache Following Concussion/Mild Traumatic Brain Injury.
This course is divided into two parts:
- 11 a.m. to noon ET: Guidance for Non-Primary Care Managers — Management of Headache Following Concussion/Mild TBI, 1 CE/CME credit
- Noon to 1 p.m. ET: Guidance for the Primary Care Manager — Assessment and Management of Headache Following Concussion/Mild TBI, 1 CE/CME credit
