Wright-Patterson Medical Center Awardees

Air Force Col. Michael Frayser, director, Wright-Patterson Medical Center, Ohio, receives the MHS Excellence in High Reliability Award for medical center overall excellence at the 2026 Military Health System Conference in Dallas, Texas, May 28. 

Dr. Stephen Ferrara, former principal deputy assistant secretary of war for health affairs, Navy Vice Adm. Darin Via, and Air Force Lt. Gen. John DeGoes, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force surgeon general, presented the award.
