Elmendorf Medical Group Awardees

Air Force Col. Angela Lacek, director, Elmendorf Medical Group, Alaska, receives the MHS Excellence in High Reliability Award for inpatient MTF most improved, at the 2026 Military Health System Conference in Dallas, Texas, May 28. 

Dr. Stephen Ferrara, former principal deputy assistant secretary of war for health affairs, Navy Vice Adm. Darin Via, and Air Force Lt. Gen. John DeGoes, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force surgeon general, presented the award.
