Intrepid Center ribbon cutting photo

The New Intrepid Spirit Center

On Sept. 18, 2024, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at William Beaumont Army Medical Center to celebrate the opening of the newly constructed Intrepid Spirit Center. The ceremony was celebrated with commemorative speeches and guided tours of the new building. The Ft. Bliss Intrepid Spirit Center is the last one to be built for the Defense Intrepid Network for TBI and Brain Health.

The Joint Commission evaluates and accredits more than 23,000 healthcare organizations and programs in the United States. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization's commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.
